Problem while creating PDFs from Excel file

Post by Markus92 »

I'm trying to create one single pdf from an excel file (4 sheets in total; resulting in 7 pages), but it automatically splits the saved .pdf into two separate files(1st file contains pages 1-2; rest in 2nd file; and sometimes 3 pdf files, depending on the printing settings ).
I found a thread where someone mentioned to play around with dpi settings, but i can't seem to get it to work.
Putting them together by myself would be time consuming, since i need to convert the affected file several times a week.
I'm using PDF-XChange Printer V6 (Version 6.0 Build 322.7). Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

When you like to create one single PDF from the Entire Workbook of an Excel file - via File > Print > PDF-XChange Standard printer - you must:

1) first, make sure that all the sheets have the same Page Setup settings (via the Page Layout ribbon).
Especially the dpi-value (at Print Quality) should be equal for all the sheets.

2) second, make sure to select Entire Workbook in the Print dialog box.

Hi Markus92
I also see you mentioned you are using V6.0.322.7, If willy's soultion does not work, please update to V7.0.325.1 and let us know if the same solution still does not work.

Adjusting the settings finally worked. Thanks a lot !
