Interesting font "effects"...

I'm not sure if the following rendering issue is the fault of PDF XChange or the XChange Viewer, but let's start with the result:
...and all characters with bold font are displayed with a dashed outlining. I tried to change different things in the printer driver but failed (so I had around 15 versions with funny fonts) but now I was able to create a version which looks fine. For me it looks like the dashed arc may be responsible for the weard results, but wo knows.
Maybe the enclosed files help to find the reason for this behaviour.

I am using WinWord to create a test for my students (that's why I can't post it here) and made a PDF file using PDF XChange and show it with PDF XChange Viewer (which is still the best PDF viewer)......and all characters with bold font are displayed with a dashed outlining. I tried to change different things in the printer driver but failed (so I had around 15 versions with funny fonts) but now I was able to create a version which looks fine. For me it looks like the dashed arc may be responsible for the weard results, but wo knows.
