We have installed PDF-XChange V6 on a Windows 2012 Server. We wonna print via remote Scheduler (Automic UC4) with an interactive administrator account some ASCII Files. If we are running the application on the Server-Console the printing works fine. If we print via the scheduler (running the same application) we recieve an COM class factroy error. We tried everything to maket it run.

Additionally, when it prints, it is very slow.

Any ideas?

Thanks for help.

Hi rbollhalder,
Did you try to setup your application to print on a physical printer while operating in the same mode (i.e. via the scheduler)?

Meanwhile we solved the problem. If there is too many printig objects, there's a problem to check n' grant access to the com-object for the remote accaount. We found out it is not a printing problem, it was the problem of the application respectively the check of the access n' authorization to the com object. So we reduced the amount of printing threads per order, now it works. The application is a 32bit application running on a 64bit server. We certainly contact the other Software Provider to finally migrate the application to 64-bit.

Case closed. Thank you for your support.
