Uninstalling went wrong SOLVED

I tried the Lite version to compare it with an old copy of PDF Factory Pro that I use. It works OK but I still prefer Factory, so decided to uninstall it.
All seemed to be OK and the printer driver disappeared, but then I discovered that the Editor had gone! Now, when I was asked if I wanted to remove the Editor as well I was extremely careful to choose No.
Also, the folder for Lite was still there - Editor's folder had gone.

I reinstalled Editor and it picked up all of my settings, so obviously it hadn't been fully uninstalled. I also had a backup of the settings, so this was only a minor inconvenience, but it really shouldn't happen.

Hello Giraffe,

We managed to test this here at our end, and did reproduce the problem. So I've made a ticket:
#3129: Lite 313.1: Uninstalling it forces an uninstall of the Editor as well.
So that we can keep track of this and fix it in a timely manner.

Just a quick update that the issue with Lite uninstalling the Editor is now fixed. The fix will be available in the next build (314) - which does not have a fixed release date yet - but for now is planned at late August if all goes well.
