Serial Number Won't Paste

I purchased PDF-XChange Lite 5.5.311.0 on Nov 5 and downloaded the program. When I try to copy and paste the Product Key during installation it will not paste. When I try to paste it in manually, in either the Editor or the Viewer as instructed, a message appears saying "Unable to add new license key(s). 1 license key has been filtered because is not suitable for this product."

Consequently, I am getting the Buy Now stamp on my documents. If I have done something wrong, I would like to know what it is so that I can correct the problem and use the product.

I am running windows 8.1 on a custom built computer. I can copy and paste the key into other places, i.e. MS Word. My order information is as follows:

Single User License (24.00)
Version Upgrade Option: 1 year(s) ($0.00)
Maintenance Plan Expiration Date: 5 Nov 2015

Welcome to our forums.
Please make sure you are using Ctrl-V to paste as a Right Click -> Paste is not available for the serial key field.

And yes - a Lite only key will not license any of our other products so the error you are getting in the Viewer/Editor is expected.

Thank you, this resolved the problem. Being a mouse user, I didn't think to use Ctrl + V instead of right clicking. Perhaps a mention of this in the instructions would help others like me.
