Problem with print driver 5.5.310.0

Hello support team,

I have installed PDF Xchange Pro 5.5.310.0 with the lastest print driver. When I now print any graphic file from Corel Paintshop Pro into PDF the result is somehow shrinked in vertical direction. After reinstalling the old print driver 5.5.309.0 everything is just fine again. Any idea? Settings where the same for both tests.

Corel Paintshop Pro is currently the only application where I encountered this problem. Operating system is Win 7 64 bit.

Please find attached a test JPG and the resulting PDFs created with driver 309 and 310.

Thanks Ralf,

I've had the same issue reported when printing from Excel to PDF as well by someone else - so I've passed this to our drivers experts for further investigation.

Hello,
I've had the same issue when printing from Word with graphic pictures from Autocad.
After reinstalling the previous print driver 5.5 309 everything work fine again.

Tested on 7 64 and 7-32 - Same problem.

Thanks for confirming you are experiencing the same.
I've reproduced it here at my end as well - so we have a ticket for this now:
#2760: Drivers 310: Issues with image scaling.
That will allow us to fix this in a timely manner.

The issue is fixed now and the fix will be available in new build that should be released soon.
As a workaround until new build release please uncheck the option "Enable Optimization of Images Sequences" on "Optimization" page of driver's preferences.

Not sure if my problem is the same or not, but the work-around corrected the issue.

After installing the new driver, pdf's generated from autocad do not show the graphic images that are part of the drawing. The autocad line work plots fine, but the graphic images do not show up in the final pdf. The images show in the print preview and show up when printed with the built-in autocad pdf driver.

Will the new build address this issue as well?

Hi Dennis,

If the workaround works for you as well - then yes the fix planned for the next build (I believe it will be 310.1) will also resolve the problem you are currently experiencing.
