Problem with Uninstall/ReInstall

Hi Support,

i have a problem with the Version 1.07 and Version 1.10 of the RasterX-Change and Windows 7.

I can´t uninstall the Version 1.07 from the windows pc. if i uninstall the driver over windows, pc restart and new installation of the version 1.10, the windows printer says on the about-form that 1.07 is already installed!

How can i solve the problem?

THX John. I have this problem at the moment only on 3 windows 7 computers. it seems, that it works on the other os like xp or vista.

Edit: 9:11am ....problem now on a windows xp pc also!

Maybe, i have the problem!

Installed are the Version 1.07

You distribute the Version

Current Version: 1.05.47

Roman give me a Beta with the Version 1.10

in this thread you said, i should download the gold-release

but...maybe the version of the goldrelease are smaller than my installed version and becorse of this reason, the printer can´t update to 1.10

Where can i see, which version the rcx.exe (Setup) has?

You can download version 1.10 from the following page:

Also you can verify the version of the installation package by checking its file properties (version tab).

If you do experience your problem with the latest installation please do the following checks after you have uninstalled RXC:

1. Check if RXC the printer & driver are actually removed from the system.
For Vista or Win 7 go to : Control Panel->Administrative tools->Print Management (or just run printmanagement.msc from the command line).
For older windows go to : Control Panel->Printers & Faxes[all the printers are here]->File(menu item)->Server Properties->Drivers(tab)[all the drivers are here].

2. Check the printer driver directory directly. File rxcdrv.dll should be absent there.
That directory is:
%SystemRoot%\spool\drivers\W32X86\3 - for 32-bit Windows
%SystemRoot%\spool\drivers\x64\3 - for 64-bit Windows
