The Panes.Visible returns false when Panes are stacked on top of each other and tabbed like the default location for the Bookmarks, Thumbnails, Layers and such on the left side. In your VB6 sample app you can see this by checking the Bookmarks which it will then show a check in the box. But as soon as you check the Thumbnails the Thumbnails becomes checked and the Bookmarks is unchecked even though technically I would consider it a Visible window, it's just not the active window in that dock pane.
So how can we tell if a user has closed the Pane or if it's just hidden by another pane in a docked window?

No way in current realization. Feature like as "<Pane>.Present" will be added into next releases.rmcmanamy wrote:...So how can we tell if a user has closed the Pane or if it's just hidden by another pane in a docked window?
