IsOperationGranted to exportPages

Post by prosozial_schmitt »

Hello,
I want to check, if it's allowed to extractPages.
In your documentation I see various operation identifiers - but none for extractPages.
see: https://help.pdf-xchange.com/DEV/de ... iongranted

Which identifier do I have to use and is it on document or on page scope?

Greetings

Hello prosozial_schmitt,

If you have the Insert Pages or Document Manipulation operations granted - then page extraction will also be allowed.

Hi Stefan,

thank you for your answer.

It's a little bit strange that InsertPages effects ExtractPage :)

Hello prosozial_schmitt,

The security restrictions on PDF level are working in groups, so document modifications include both of these I believe (but am going to verify with a colleague in the dev team to be 100% sure just in case).

Regards,
Stefan
