Insert text at cursor annotation not show in comment panel

Hi,

The "insert text at cursor annotation" doesn't show on the comment panel. However the note will show when the user mousse over it, but cannot modify or delete it. Is it a bug?

I think I know the type of annotation you are referring to, but can you please attach a sample document?

Yes indeed the Viewer does not show those in the comments pane, however the Editor does (but has problems with showing the pop-up bubble).

You should still be able to access such annotations via JS code though even in the Viewer (and the AX).

Is it a way I can add it on the comment pane in code?
I almost finish testing the function and need to report my manager. The PDF-XChange Viewer SDK has all function we wanted. I would like to know whether this problem will be fix or not on next version. If so, when will be the next released date?Thanks.

Hi, bmw

Currently the "Insert Text" annotation is unsupported by Viewer.
I'm not sure that it will be implemented in the future, sorry..

Hi,

This will not be added to the Viewer SDK I am afraid - but would be in the Editor SDK due for release later this year as a replacement/upgrade for the Viewer SDK ...

We are moving a significant proportion of our development staff to the Editor SDK in terms of priority once the next release of all products is made over the next 10 days or so in an effort to expedite the final items, documentation and examples and this should bear fruit 8-10 weeks thereafter - it is our number 1 priority once the next release is closed off and released to the public.
