Typewriter Tool
I fill out bid forms with the typewriter tool fairly often. I tried to use Segoe UI Print as the default font, and the cursor jumps down and expands the text box when I first start to type. It makes it almost impossible to position the text where it needs to be. With most other fonts it is easier to position the cursor before typing text, but I wish it was even easier than it is. I think I found this or something quite similar about this font before. Segoe UI Print 11 pt, version 2.054. Thanks.

Re: Typewriter Tool
It is not limited to the Segoe UI font. All fonts behave in the same way.
This could definitely be improved. The top of the text is aligned to the top of where the user clicks the I-beam cursor. It would be better if the baseline of the text could be aligned to the bottom of where the user clicks the I-beam cursor.
I suspect that this will be much harder to program as it needs to take account of the typeface and point size of the current font, but it would definitely be more user-friendly.
It is one of those things that you don't notice unless you use the typewriter tool frequently. With my DTP application — PagePlus X4 — the cross-hair on the I-beam cursor indicates where the baseline of the text will be. I would not expect that level of sophistication in a PDF viewer, but it would be great if it were possible.

Re: Typewriter Tool
My use of it is not sophisticated. For most of what I do, just having all of the text line up with the bottom of the I-beam cursor would be a vast improvement. See attached.
