Common annotations

Hi
Is it possible to place annotations on a page and then make them common for a whole document or on selected pages, instead of having to place a copy on each page or pages requiring them by onself ?
Also, is there a way to add printable page numbers to a document, if the document has none ?
Thanx

Hi bignose
I don't think you can add a single comment and have it show up on every page of a document. I believe this is what you are asking to do. I'll have this confirmed but am pretty sure it is so.
For adding printable page numbers there is a feature in
PDF-Tools that does this with quite some control over the style and placement of the numbers.

Hi Paul
Yes it is what I was asking. If not, it might be worth incorporating ?
Ahhh I use PDF-Viewer so much, I forgot I had PDF-Tools.
Thanks

Hi Paul
The page numbering worked fine.
As mentioned, it would be useful if some annotaions (text boxes) could be placed on every page in a document. Maybe something to consider adding in PDF-Tools if not PDF Viewer ?

Hi BN,
thanks for getting back to me on the results. I'm pleased that PDF-Tools did what you needed.
The team have had your suggestion about comments put to them so they are considering the feature possibly for v.3
