I have one feature request to consider for new V3 of the viewer. Can be added possibility to open/save session as improvement of current functionality?
Save Session will store list of all open documents to file (text file with extension .ses for example)
Open Session will close all opened documents and open all documents listed in .ses file
This will help a lot in my work and I think will be useful also for other user.
Best Regards,
Jiri Podhorny

Re: [FR] Open/Save Session
Hello Jiri,
We already have a session implementation as you probably are aware.
To activate the session please open the Viewer and go to Edit -> Preferences -> Registration -> General and there in the "Opening Document" section turn on "Restore Last Session when application starts".
I think that after previous discussions here in the forums we have decided to limit this to one session as unlike e.g. websites where the links are most of the time consistent (so you could have lists or groups of websites that you often need together) you might in less than a week have stored sessions where none of the files are currently in their initial locations (are deleted/move etc.) which will cause more troubles than good.
Best,
Stefan

Tried and tested. Opera forum post about it.
Wouldn't it be easier to use a *.txt file extension? One less step.

SES extension used because I don't want to start PDFsession by double click on other TXT files.
I have SES extension registered with PDFsession utility.

Hi Jiri,
This is still a popular feature request. If you're watching this topic, perhaps you could update your utility to work with PDF-XChange Editor?
