Are there any plans to make the Packaged PDF files a little bit more intuitive to the end user? Right now it opens showing the Adobe Splash Screen telling the user to download Adobe Reader and with the Pages Tab current (or whichever tab was current last). I like how the Adobe Reader handles it where it opens the first page of the first PDF and all of the PDF files still open in the same Window (Tab) from the navigation controls at the top. But I realize that's probably fairly complex and requires major changes on your part.
On suggestion might be to make sure that the Attachments Tab is shown and visible when a Packaged PDF is opened. That would help the users at first get used to them.
Or maybe replacing their splash screen with one of your own that lists the attachements and allows you to click on those.

Re: Better Support for Packaged PDF Files
I suspect Rodney that the splashscreen message is embedded JS - as with the message that 'A later release of Acrobat is required ...' when unsupported forms types are viewed - but will ask Vasya to investigate this and the other comments and reply here.

Re: Better Support for Packaged PDF Files
It looks like it's actually a page in the PDF. When combining the PDF's in Adobe I think they give you an option of showing the first page of the first file or using their generic cover page I guess you would call it. If opened in Adobe Reader you never see the cover page. It opens into the first file and Adobe has a navigation at that top then that allows you to go between the files in the Packaged PDF.
