Quick change of initial view

Hi,

The new feature "Added setting/changing documents initial view"
in version 2.0.0042.0 beta is very useful!

I often have to open a document and change the inital view from
"Bookmarks panel and page" to "Page only".

Is there any way to automate this?
Maybe a command line option?

I also have to change the discription info of documents often.
I would like to automate this too.

I really miss Acrobat's batch feature. Are there any plans to add such
a feature?

I see the same issue on my build 42 - Vista and msi installer. Same deal for XP x64 and the msi. What installer did you use the msi or exe?

It seems to work for switching to "Thumbnail panel and Page" as well as "Bookmark panel and Page" but not "Page only". I'll see what the dev boys have to say.

I used the exe installer.

Though, my problem isn't that this feature doesn't work
manually. I wonder if I can automate the feature.

I have the latest version and I believe this may be the same problem, but here goes... I set preferences as follows - Initial View: Page Only, Default Page Layout: Continuous, Default Page Zoom: Fit Width. I then open a file with 4 x 24" x 36" blueprints, and the Bookmark Panel still opens. If I then close the Bookmark Panel, close the file and re-open, the panel is not there. Seems to be restoring last used view, even if it is not chosen. Or, am I missing something?
