Open PDFs in Firefox doesnt work - the PDF is always promptet to download or open.
The new release Version 2.035 has not solved the problem for me.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the PDF-Xchange Viewer - and make the setting "Show in Browser"... but nothing helped.
I use Firefox 2.0.0.12 German.

After trying numerous fixes (none of which worked), I found that the following got me what I wanted:
- 1. Open Firefox
2. In the Address Bar type in "about:config" and press enter
3. In the "Filter" field type in "plugin"
4. Look for a line that reads "plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types"
5. If this line exists, right-click on it and select "Reset", or just edit the value to remove "application/pdf", leaving the remaining stuff in place.
