Important Notes for the PDF-XChange Viewer Build 2.035

This is the very first build incorporating **NEW** features that require a paid for License.

All the features you have been used to free - are still available as free functions and do not require a paid for license to use without restriction - subject always to our License standard terms and conditions.

All features marked as 'PRO' can only be used in evaluation mode from the free version and if you save the file having used these PRO features - it will be altered to include watermarks making it obvious it has been modified with an evaluation copy - please ensure that you do not modify original documents using these evaluation features if they cannot be recreated again - if it is important to you and cannot be reproduced !

If you own PDF-XChange PRO V4 or PDF-Tools V4 your license and serial number are also valid for this new PDF-XChange Viewer PRO FREE of charge.

Simply copy your Version 4 serial number from your receipt and paste it into the Viewer option :

Edit -> preferences -> Registration

Your saved PDF files using the special 'PRO' features will then be saved without any trial watermarks !!!

I could live without most of the features (merging PDFs is a three-word command to gs and deleting pages should be achieved the same way most likely). Still, for people who are not command-line oriented, ability to delete pages (and how about inserting pages --not only merging PDFs) is good addition. The other one feature I think is badly needed is PDF optimization: using a rather nice PDF "printer driver" I merged 7 files (1MB worth of data) into a 7MB single PDF, which is ludicrous (sorted it out by merging files via gs). Also I guess you guys might also deserve some money for other feature which are sooo cool: ability to annotate PDFs.

Another feature I'd like to see is abilty to print tiled. There's a sorts of workaround (zoom a certain region, "Print Current View", scroll, print again) but it's buggy --I can give you more details-- and not very precise.

BUT: For how long is the license going to be valid for? Is the license going to be valid for version 2? When would that happen (version 2 release)? I am aware we are talking about 1.0x right now, but don't take it personal if ask this.

Regarding upgrades - obviously the free version and all the features that have been free - will remain free and other free features - will be added.

For the PRO version -- as with all our paid for prioducts - all upgrades are free for a minimum of 12 months or until the next 'FULL' version upgrade.

At least to at least include:
