I think not, but custom stamps are on the ToDo list. No doubt they will be available sooner or later.

I want to reactivate this posting.
I found some stamps here
https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... 70&p=18888
but they are in English too.

I would be great if there are

- standard stamps in different languages (which come and go when you select your personal language)
- a download-page for users to upload and download
- a "plugin to create stamps" ( :roll: )

Hi Peter,

all good suggestions, some of which as you know we are already planning, or in place. Stamps creation (static Stamps) can already be created using the Viewer: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/knowled ... ps-Palette

I personally like the idea of a place where users can upload and share their custom stamps. I've added it to the 'wish list' and it will be discussed here.

Perhaps setting a collection of default stamps by language could be added as this collection grows? Again we'll discuss it here.

Thanks for the input Peter!
Best regards

Hi Paul

thanks for your positive reply.

I read the KB-article before and tried it - this is why I made the suggestion :wink:
No, only joke.

The KB-article is very well written and it works as described, but the way of creation and sharing with other users (other KB) is not very handy. It is very flexible, but maybe for the most users the form of the stamp is not the most important thing; I believe it is the content (the word). Maybe a stamp could be created semi-dynamic by using a combination of "software pre-defined shape" plus "free Text".

There could be a simple dialogue which asks for:

Code: Select all

Text: Please type free text
Select a shape (circle, rectangle)
Select a colour (red, green, ..)
that's all for simple stamps.

The dialogue creates an INI-file like

Code: Select all

[Stamp1]
Text=Top secret
Color=red
Shape=Circle
[Stamp2]
Text=Public
Color=green
Shape=Rectangle
This solution can be shared and edited very easy. "Complex stamps" can be created in the current way.

Only some small ideas - not first priority.

Have a fine weekend

we will be improving the way stamps are shared in V3 and we'll certainly look into your suggestions as we move forward.

You have a good week end also.

Andy those are awesome!

Thanks for that. I have copied them here. I'm not sure how long your link will remain valid for. If we do elect to create some sort of sharing repository I have your stamps to put in there. I assume that was your intention?

Regards
Best regards

No, the other way: "t" is wrong, "d" would be correct.

And in Standard.pdf you have "Streng vertaulich" (missing "r").

Hi Andy K

Thanks for adding more and more!
This last set does not have text in any specific language - so the stamps are generally useful - thanks for sharing them.

Cheers,
Stefan
