What are these lines? How to remove them?

could I ask you to send us a copy of the document itself, so that we can see this on our end?
Also, I notice that you are running our now discontinued PDF-XChange Viewer, Does this same error occur when running the
PDF-Xchange Editor?

I believe the issue is related to stroke adjust feature, and it never was implemented in the Viewer.
But the Editor should work just fine here.

Here is this book.
I checked the PDF-XChange® Editor ver 8.0 build 336.0 portable.
There are no such stripes in it.

Hello a_r,
Yes - the Editor displays your sample file correctly, and as Ivan said above - stroke adjust was never implemented in the now deprecated Viewer - so we would recommend you to consider replacing the Viewer with the Editor and your files will show up better!
