Yesterday I came across a post in Bruce Schneier's blog about broken signature validation in many PDF viewers.
In the list of affected viewers PDF-XChange Viewer is contained, too.
Since it was retired for quite some time now, I thought, I need to remember to always use the Editor for signature validation, but hey:
I just saw, there was an update issued on 13-12-2018, fixing issues with signature validation.
So thank you for still fixing security issues in PDF-XChange Viewer (which is still my favorite for viewing PDFs, while it can't compete with Editor for editing...)
Fixing security issues in the retired Viewer - or thank you :)
