Several rendering problems with a PDF

Post by halabund »

The problem file:
http://latex-beamer.sourceforge.net/beamerexample1.pdf

The problems (with build 25)

Page 2: White line at the left of "Outline" (compare with Adobe Reader). With of line is independent of zoom factor.

Page 6: Background of "turing machine" image should be transparent, not white (also true for small logos in bottom-right corner, and for list bullets).

Page 23: The red gradient in the "Intuition" box shows a horizontal black line at several (but not all) zoom factors. The problem is visible with some other gradients as well. Some kind of rounding issue, perhaps?

EDIT: Note that these problems are different from https://www.pdf-xchange.com/forum/v ... php?t=3123 . There the gaps really exist in the gradient (i.e. they are not independent of zoom).

Confirmed, but apart from the image background transparency, the other issues seem trivial.

Some problems are fixed (transparency of the images; background under bullets on page 6) and some still in work (white line and black horizontal line on page 23) while they are related to stroke adjusting problem.
