Minor issue, but every time I update Editor Pro the desktop icons of the whole suite get installed again, then I delete them from my desktop until the next update.

Thank you for reporting this.
This is a side effect of how our updater re-runs the installers when updating. The dev team is aware of this and are looking into a solution, but it is a low priority case.
