Files Corrupted when Saving to Network Drive

Post by dpig »

When Saving a copy of a file to a network drive the file becomes unreadable, however when the copy is saved to the local hard drive the file is ok. Please advise as to the cause of this issue and how to get around it. Server is Windows 2003 and client is Windows XP.
I have attached a zip file with the original document, a copy that was saved to the network drive and a copy that was saved to the local disk.

Your assistance would be most appreciated.

Regards,
Daniel

It is old problem which we cannot reproduce here. It depends of the Antivirus software as we think.

Can you say exact versions of the AV software installed on the server and client ?

Would be very helpful to allow us to reproduce this trouble.

Antivirus Software

We use Symantec Antivirus (Corporate) version 10.0 on the server and client.

Thanks,
