[Issue] Open as 'read-only' broken?

Post by borice »

Hello.

I noticed that when opening a PDF document and specifying "Open as read-only", the document can be modified and saved, overwriting the original document.

I would've expected that when I open as read-only, one of two things would happen:

1. Allow me to modify the document but disable the "Save" option (possibly allowing the Save As... to be invoked)

OR

2. Not allow me to modify the document in any way

If there was a choice, I think I'd vote for (1).

Agreed. This seems to be broken.
