Hi,

In the "Check for update" function, is it possible to only download the files that need to be updated but not the whole setup file?

10 Mbytes is a lot to download on dial-up, but I suspect that it is harder for the developers to offer a patch than the whole setup package. There may also be changes in the documentation.The EXE file alone is about 5 Mbytes, so the saving is not going to be huge.

Good things come to those who wait. Download at a friend's house or internet cafe, and save the setup file to a USB stick.

Bhikkhu is correct - this may be something we can look at a little later - but for now at least it is impractical given how fast development and functionality is being added - that also requires documentation.

Hi: Any time we try to update to a newer version, we get a Live Update notice that "Updates are downloaded..." well before the progress bar finishes and the we get an error message saying "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program."

This had occurred with moving to 1.018 and newer. Any clue to what's going on?

Hi Charlie,

Looks like some corruption during an earlier install has taken place - we have had this reported once before.

Please fully un-install and remove the Viewer and then download the install from the link below - this resolved the issue previously and allowed future updates to occur without issues.

I think I've found a bug which causes the application to crash...

1. Open a PDF document.
2. Select the "Sticky Note" button on the Comments and Markup toolbar.
3. Click somewhere in the document to locate a new Sticky Note.
4. Click on the Sticky Note popup text edit window to give it focus. (This step is important.)
5. Right click on the Sticky Note edit window and select Properties.
The application consistently crashes at that point.
