Hi,
I have a problem.
I just installed the new version of PDF-XChange Viewer v2.5.319.0 and Kaspersky Antivirus 2017 considered TrackerUpdate.exe as a virus.
Also HitmanPro showed the file as a menace.
The TrackerUpdate.exe file is signaled as Trojan-Ransom.Win32.Gen.uo.
Is there a problem? Is it a positive false?
Thanks for your help.
TrackerUpdate.exe virus?!

Re: TrackerUpdate.exe virus?!
Hi vitgar83,
Thanks for the post - This almost certainly a false positive. Please contact the makers of your anti-virus directly and send them the Tracker Updater.exe file under C:\Program Files\Tracker Software\Updater and they should be able to confirm.
Thanks,

Hello NS-Zero,
This was a false positive - and we've already contacted Kaspersky for it, and they should update their definitions shortly. Please make sure that your AV is also up to date locally.
Regards,
Stefan
