Enable separate windows for each document?

Post by Weboh »

I want each PDF to open in its own window, like Word and every other office program handle their documents. I disabled tabs, but that's worse since it requires me to resize different windows in the X-Change viewer window--and that gets real old. I love everything else about PDFXV, but this is almost a dealbreaker for me. Is there a way to tell it to open each document in its own window?

Hi Weboh,

Thanks for the post - This can be done by enabling Multiple Instances under Edit --> Preferences --> General --> Allow Multiple Instances.

HTH!

Thank you.

Ah, thanks! I saw that option, but I turned it on with Documents Layout > Single Document. Doing that just made only a single document in a single windows be able to open.

...But I guess that was a fluke since after I restarted the program after making those changes, everything worked like I expected it to. Thanks.
