Hide or Stop Auto Save alert

When working with a PDF file i only want to add a stamp to it and then print the file and then not save the changes. However, the auto save/Confirm Document Save box always pops up when trying to exit the document. I want to just close the window and not have the auto save alert box pop up. Does anyone know how to stop the auto save box from coming up?
