Hi,

after Live-Update from v.1.012 to v.1.013 following message pops up on the screen which could only be quit by click "OK":

PDFXCview.exe - Einsprungpunkt nicht gefunden
Der Prozedureinsprungpunkt "SHOpenFolderAndSelectltems" wurde in der DLL "SHELL32.dll" nicht gefunden

Have no idea what could be causing this - can I ask you to please fully uninstall/restart and re-install.

We have no similar reports indicating there is an issue - so it is very hard to provide any meaningful reply.

already deinstalled and restart several times today before sending my post with always the same result.

At the end i installed v.1.007 and it works without problems.

Would it be possible sending/posting a link where i can download i.e. v.1.010 or v. 1.012 (last version which works fine)?

Very odd Michael,

are you downloading the Viewer install direct or via the install of one of our programs ?

We have received no such other reports except one and this was related to an issue in the other products installer - not the Viewer itself- can you please advise what Version of Windows is in use ?

as i wrote i used the Live-Update button this morning. Previous version was the v.1.012.

No, i installed it all times direct since you implemented the Live-Update option.

Windows Version is Win 2000 SP 4.

Hi Michael,

we have located the problem and will resolve in build 14.

This relates to an issue with a Windows native API function not fully supported it would appear in W2K - this function allows us to access via the "Document Properties" dialog on the "Description" page the ability to click on the "Location" option - and Windows Explorer is opened with the current PDF file already selected.

Do you have an old version without the error or will the new build be available soon? SHOpenFolderAndSelectltems is available in XP only.

An updated version compatible with all Windows Versions from Windows 2000 and later will be available late today or at very worst tomorrow.

I encountered the same problem with v13. Also on a WIN2K workstation. I had the problem from the update from v12, and from a fresh install. I look forward to v14.

Hi to all,

Build 15 is now available for 'update' or direct download.

This resolves the W2K install issue, adds both Simple 'Find' and 'Advanced Search' options, allows the printing of 'Typewriter' added text and some fixes and feature additions.

V15 loads on my win2k workstation, but the text added via the Typewriter still does not print.

Ok - will check - but for sure it works A-ok on XP and Vista - can you advise if this is a newly created Build 15 document that has been modified - or one from a previous build ?

Also Eric - if you export to an Image format - does the typewriter text export ok to the image format ?

It was an mix - some text from v12 and some from v15 - but none of it printed.

It works on a pure V15 document - I was able to copy/paste the text from the v12 document and it printed fine.
