Registry entry to show PDF not in browser

Post by inga78 »

Hi there,

I need the registry entry when I set PDFXChange Viewer not to show PDF-documents in browser.

Do anyone know where this could be made in registry ?

Kind regards

Hi Inga,

Thanks for the post - there's no one registry key that does this, but roughly a dozen, many in quite obsure places. We cannot advise on all of these places, offhand and we do not support this method. I would strongly advise that you try one of the following:

- Re-run the installer and deselect the option to view in browsers.

- Deselect this option under Edit --> Preferences --> File Associations, then click Apply.

- Run a cmd switch/batch file, to /makeassoc:web=yno:
https://help.pdf-xchange.com/EUM/de ... ne_options

- Or publish a transform via Group Policy.

Hope that helps!

Thank you.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Tracker Software\PDFViewer\FileAssociations
DWord: DisplayInBrowser
