With the 'distance tool', it will show length.

Can the same be done with the 'Area' or 'Perimeter' Tool?

With the Perimeter and area tools you will get a "perimeter" information - which will be the length of the whole shape. Or is it something else that you want to achieve?

yes, like the distance tool, that shows the dimension on the plan..

Hello Robert,

The Disnatance tool is a special type of line, and is described as such in the PDF specification, while the area/perimeter tools are different objects and they can not have the same measurement shown on the page itself. You will need to add it yourself as e.g. a separate typewriter object once you know the actual value of the measurement (shown in the pop-up window at the bottom right corner).

I see the feature in other products I've previewed, wanted to see if you could as well..

Hi Robert,

We'll pass a request along, but I don't know whether or not we will be able to implement this, as descriptions of what is allowed for these tools is set out in the PDF Specification, to which we adhere 100%. I suspect that any other Readers that have these features are not conform to the ISO Specification, though I would need to confirm that.
