I have a 383MB PDF file of drawings and I'm trying to use links to connect the drawings together. All seems to work during setup but I'm finding that the link was there but after I saved the file from the Viewer and and re-opened it in the editor (both the latest versions) the linked page numbers were lost.
I'll try and find time to test the issue but thought you should know.

Hi jcaiken,
Thanks for the post - this isn't happening for me here. Could you please advise on the build of both the Editor and the Viewer that you're using?
Cheers,

Editor v3 Build 307; Viewer v2.5 build 214.2
Note that I'm starting to find that some of the comments (all the polylines, shapes and pop-up notes on apparently random pages) are disappearing from our PDF file. This is of great concern as the file is intended to be part of the record of a safety review.
Note that we have a lot of comments in the 386MB PDF file and are probably only 75% if the way through the safety review - exporting the current comments creates a 1.15MB FDFfile. Is there a limit on the total number of comments?

Hi jcaiken,
Thanks for the info. - you are using older builds, I would recommend downloading and testing the latest builds:

Before you, I would also strongly recommend that you see this KB article:

There is a theoretical limit to the number of items that can be stored in a PDF, but I'm not sure what this is offhand. I will ask the Dev. Team what this is and if there's a way for you check how close you are, then will post back.Note that we have a lot of comments in the 386MB PDF file and are probably only 75% if the way through the safety review - exporting the current comments creates a 1.15MB FDFfile. Hi jcaiken,
The limit for the number of objects that a PDF can have is 8,388,607. Unfortunately, there isn't anyway for an End User to check this, but may be possible programmatically.

Thanks for the info.
I'm confident that we won't be breaking that limit - less than 2000 comments made to date.
I've not had any repeat of the issue about lost comments and it may have been due to poor version control of the project PDF files. I'll let you know if it crops up again.
