I just got a new Win 7 Pro (64 bit) computer, and successfully installed PDF XChange Viewer 2.5 (Build 212.0) on it. I also was able to Import all my Settings, via Data File, from my old XP computer. This went very painlessly.
There is one problem. The 'Recents List' is fully populated with what I had pinned, as well as my most recent major documents. Unfortunately the file location is wrong, and of course nothing can be opened on the new computer.
Is there some way that I can modify these file location settings so they point to where the documents are on my new computer? I don't want to have to open each one again just to get the correct location, unless it is absolutely necessary.
Thanks,
Harry

Re: Recents List when moved to new computer
Hi Harry,
Those settings are stored in the registry, so other than opening each of the files anew - the only other way would be to manipulate the registry directly - which will probably be slower and more prone to errors so I would not recommend it.
However - the needed paths are stored in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFViewer\Documents\LastOpened\001
...
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tracker Software\PDFViewer\Documents\LastOpened\050
One "folder" per file opened storing it's path + other document specific information.
Regards,
Stefan

Stefan:
Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll not tamper with the Registry, and just reopen all of the files, as you recommended.

Sorry but I don't understand your message.
1. I did not try to upload a file.
2. Are you saying that if I do, it must be submitted as a ZIP, RAR or 7z file?
