How do I Save Only One Page to let's say to my desktop?
after using the snapshot tool?

Hi Gary,

After you've used the snapshot tool you will need to open an image manipulating application (e.g. MS Paint) and paste that snapshot there.

However if you have a multi page document - saving just one page from it should be done with the Extract pages feature instead - as this will not convert all the page content to image as the snapshot does.

Hi Gary,

Simply use the "Document -> Extract Pages" option - and it will stay a PDF page.

this is done in Pdf x or paint.
Because when i try to do it in PDFX the whole document not that 1 page is saved.

If I am remembering correctly, this was an issue in older builds of the Editor, but was fixed in a previous update, so please download and run the following to install the latest build and you should see the issue resolved:

If that doesn't solve the issue, please send a sample document that displays this behaviour, as this obviously shouldn't be happening and we'd like to fix the problem.

You should still be able to extract pages, you will just receive a watermark while saving, so please do try the update.

Hi Gary,

Could you go to export your settings from the Edit menu and save the .DAT file somewhere easy to find, then go to View --> Toolbars --> Customize Toolbars and reset your configuration, then try looking for the extract pages feature?

Could you go to Help --> About and send a screen-shot of what you're seeing there? Please make sure that you wrap the image in a ZIP folder or RAR/7Zip archive before uploading, or the image will be stripped.

Hi Gary,

I suspect that this is because you have the "Hide PRO Features" option enabled, in the Preferences. Please go to Edit --> Preferences --> Registration and turn off the "Hide PRO Features" option. You should then see these appear.

The only application that we have, that is capable of converting PDF documents to Word Documents, is PDF-Tools. This feature is limited to documents that contain only a simple formatting, anything complex is likely to need editing. You can download PDF-Tools here:

To me it is not so clear what Gary is trying to do, and what is his final goal.

So Gary, do you want to take a 'snapshot' of the whole PDF-page and paste that as a 'picture' into Word ?
Do you need to be able to still make corrections to the content that you copy from PDF to DOCx ?
Or is it rather a mix of text and picture(s) ?

For copying a picture, you can use the snapshot tool,
for copying text, you can simply select the text and click Edit > Copy,
for creating a picture of the whole page, you can click File > Export > Export to Image... (at Page Range - only select the page that you want to output to a picture format).

If you want to copy the text, then you have two options:
1) selecting the text in PDF-XChange Viewer and Copying it / After that, switch to Word and Paste
2) using PDF-XChange PDF-Tools > Convert PDF to DOC (for that one page)

Hi Gary,

If you're looking to edit the text, then exporting the file as an image, or taking snapshots won't allow you to do this, as it will rasterize all of the content on the page.

Also, it might be worth noting that, with the Editor, text can be edited directly in the Editor itself. I would suggest downloading and trying it:
