Feature Request: Command-line Export To Image Usage

Post by robertcollier4 »

Thank you for a great product. I find PDF XChange Viewer's "Export To Image" to be superior to any other solution since it gives images with smooth fonts (not sure how it does this, probably applies something similar to ClearType before it makes the image).

It would be a great addition and I think valuable to many users to allow "Export To Image" to be invoked from the command line.

Something like:

Code: Select all

PDFXCview.exe "C:\TestPDF.pdf" /export /type="gif" /zoom="100" /res="300" /pages="12-15" /filename="<Page Number>" /dest="C:\TestPDFExport"

Hi Robert,

thanks for the suggestion. I have added it to the Viewer wish list. One possible issue here may be the licensing, it's probably not a technical issue per se to add such a feature however it may not be in line with the EULA to access this from a command line.
Best regards
