The icon for my pdf documents saved to the desktop is a plain white color, with fine dark printing.
I have uninstalled Adobe Reader and reinstalled PDF Xchange viewer v2.5 Aug. 2012.
I have rebooted the pc and also ensured the file association for .pdf has been set to PDF Xchange viewer.
The icon applicable for this program is still a white color, instead of the program default.
Would appreciate some suggestions thanks.

Re: Desktop Icon for Documents Saved To The Desktop
Hi allegro,
The shell extensions included with the installation of the viewer replace a program icon on PDF files with a thumbnail image of the first page of the PDF as a preview, please refer to this page: https://www.pdf-xchange.com/shell_ext.html
Best,
Chris

If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
