"Choose paper source by PDF-page" ignored by command line?

Hello,

PDF-XChange Viewer is 99.8% of what I have been looking for in a PDF viewer for many years. Congratulations on such a superb product.

Here is the only thing that I need in a PDF viewer that (I think) doesn't work correctly in PDF-XChange Viewer (at least not in the portable version).

When I print from the GUI, and select "Choose paper source by PDF-page size", it works perfectly. My printer prompts me to insert an envelope if the PDF page has the page size of an envelope. And the portable version of the program "remembers" this setting when I close it down and start it up.

But when I print from the command line, using this switch:

/print:default=yes d:\path\filename.pdf

then everything prints to the standard page size.

Is it possible to change this behavior? Thank you for any help and advice.

Hi Emendelson,

The reason you are experiencing this behaviour is because you are forcing the printer settings to default by setting the default switch to "yes".

Thank you! I somehow got the idea that I was printing to the default printer, but I see that this was mistaken.

So the program does absolutely everything I wanted...!
