PDF-X Vwr freezes when attempting to print

The attached file is displayed properly, but when trying to print it, PDFXVwr freezes as soon as preview of page 7 or higher is chosen or printing has proceeded to page 7.
Printing does work with Adobe Reader and Foxit Reader.

The attached file was removed because it is copyrighted and the issue is solved with PDFXVwr release 2.5.200.

No freezing here for me, either when selecting page 7 in the Print Preview window, nor when printing it.
Can you please tell us your Viewer Build (you can check that in Help -> About) - if it is not 2.5.199 - please as a first thing try to update to the latest one:
www.tracker-software.com/PDFXVwer.zip

If you do have the latest build, then please do specify your OS version (XP, Vista, Win7), whether is's 32 or 64 bit, and to which make and model of printer you are trying to print. If you can also send us a link to the printer's drivers - that would also be of great help!

Hello and thanks for the fast reply.
The viewer is up to date, I ran live update to verify, and version number is correct.
OS is XP Pro SP3 32bit.
Effect occurs on any printer driver, e.g. HPLJ4000, Ricoh Aficio MP C3300 PCL 6, or the Windows XP PS driver.
Also, deactivating the virus scanner (Kaspersky) does not solve the problem.
Freezing means that PDFXCView.exe consumes 50% CPU on my Core2Duo (Windows Taskmanager).

With Microsoft XPS Document Writer, the viewer does not hang on preview but preview displays an empty (gray) page; when actually printing on XPS, the viewer hangs, too.

Just to be sure - you say you ran the live updater - but it's know to have not worked properly in past builds - so can you confirm that it does say build 2.5.199 in Help -> About once again for me?

I tried on a different PC with Windows 7 Prof SP1, and got the same problem.
This system was freshly installed on an empty harddisk 3 weeks ago. I even uninstalled and newly installed PDF Xchange Viewer a few minutes ago, same problem.
Also here, independent of printer driver (Win7 driver for HP Deskjet 960c, Win7 PS driver, MS XPS Writer).

The problem first occurred when working in a restricted user account, so I also tested in an Admin account: same problem.

Each time when the problem occurs I have to kill the process via Task Manager.

Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:
Open the file in PDF Xchange Viewer (free version).
Choose File - Print
Below the preview window, choose page 7 (preview window only displays gray area); then choose cancel.
Or, without navigating in the preview window, just choose OK for printing.
Print proceeds up to page 6 then stalls with high CPU usage.
