Shell thumbnails not working with PDF-Tools???

I was looking at some output from PDF-Tools 4 - and not one of the pdf's showed any thumbnails.
Then I loaded a PDF into PDF-XChange and saved it backout, and the thumbnail appeared in the shell...
Is your own app not compatible with the shell extension?

Hello PdfSnooper,
Please make sure that you are using build 199 of all our products, as if you are using an older one - this coule be a problem that has long been resolved.
Otherwise - nope there shouldn't be aby problems with generating previews for files created by our PDF Tools.

Hello PdfSnooper,
Yes the latest build of all our current products is 199.
For the Viewer the notation is 2.5.199, and for the tools that would be 4.0.199 - but the current build number for all products is the same.

Odd, PDF-Tools is Version 4.0193 and on my account page it says i have the latest version.

Hello PdfSnooper,
The account reflects only the licensable versions - so build 193 and 199 (both of ver4 of our PDF Tools) are "the latest" for your accounts page.
Please download and install build 199 from here:
https://www.pdf-xchange.com/product/downloads
And all should be well.
