Hello Matrixik,

I have asked our devs to check the "Fit Visible" functionality and we will advise a bit later here in this same ticket what we have found.

As for the problem reporting - even if you do not have a mail client the button in our Viewer should still launch Outlook Express on your machine - and you can then copy the files from there, and the problem description and send them to pdfxv@tracker-software.com via your online mail service.

Best,
Stefan

Thank you.

I know what I have installed on my machine and I don't have any mail client (even Outlook Express) and don't want to install it.

Cheers

Hi Matrixik,

there is little we can do in the current version to change the way those reports are being sent I'm afraid. The good news is that we are going to include support for web based mail in V3.

Thank you. (Do you have approximate date when we can expect V3?)

Hello Matrixik,

We do not have an exact date yet. All the latest information we have you can find here:
https://forum.pdf-xchange.com/ ... hp?t=10100

Best,
Stefan

p.s. after discussing this with the devs they also requested that I make a ticket in our internal system:
#1182: Viewer 2.5.197: Incorrect behaviour - "Fit Visible" behaves like "Fit Page"
So that this can be added in the ToDo list.

Hello Tim,

It seems to be working for me. It does zoom more than when "Fit Page" is used.
Can you supply a sample file that illustrates the problem?

Stefan

Hi Stefan,

you are right, over the "View -> Zoom" it seems to work. But it if I try to set it as "Default Page Zoom" it switch back to "Fit Page"!

Greetings,
Tim

Hi Tim,

Setting defaults should be working much better in the upcoming build 307 of the Editor.

Stefan
