Hi

By trying to open a pdf on the web I get the following Error Message from PDF-Viewer (Build 194):
"Error opening document "http://www.cancernetwork.com/binary_con ... let":Error [Application]: Source storage is wrong"

On another machine with Adopbe as default pdf software there is no problem to open the documents.

How you get to the website with the problem(s):
You probably have to register (Free!) on www.cancernetwork.com to get access ..

This is an online book "Cancer Management: A Multidisciplinary Approach" with several chapters.
Let's click on the link to the first chapter which leads to http://www.cancernetwork.com/cancer-man ... 65/1802498
Here you get on top of the site the possibility do download the chapter as pdf. By clicking on this link I get the error message above.

Can you help me please?

... meanwhile I found out, that the problem only occurs with IE 9.
There is no problem when I use Chrome ....

Hi Ernst,

can you please try again and ensure before attempting to view the file that you are 'logged in' to the site using your sign in info and advise if this resolves your issues ?

I allways have been logged in. Otherwise one even can't get to the table of contents of the book, which contains the links to the chapters.
And I have tried it again and made sure that I am logged in of course.

I find the same thing in Firefox 4 - it works but not IE9. I have created a ticket to track our investigations of this: RT#1020: Error opening document ... Source storage is wrong

I will post here what we find.

this was addressed in the most recent build. 2.5.196 went out over the week end and your issue should be resolved. Please test this new build and let me know how it works for you.
