cannot get it to work

Hi,

We have downloaded and installed the trial version Raster-Xchange
The About dialog shows:

'1.04 Build 38'

Our OS = XP Pro.

The Save Settings are

Save = Show 'Save As...' dialog

However when we select the Raster-Xchange print driver, all that happens is that a progress dialog appears and then closes. No 'Save As...' dialog ever appears.

If we set the Save Settings to use the macro, again, no output file can be found at the expected location.

We have tried setting the graphics to BMP and TIF, both have the same result, i.e. no apparent output.

Any hints?

Hi Paul,

Can I ask what application and version you tried ?

Can you please try direct from Notepad and say MS Word ?

Tried from Outlook 2003 and I can reproduce this - but from everything else - all Prog's - all works as it should including Notepad and Word.

Very odd.

Hi,

From Notepad:

Using a small document (less than 1 page):

A small dialog shows very briefly, then nothing.

Using medium size document (5 pages):

A small dialog shows very briefly, then Notepad displays error dialog: 'Your file waiting to be printed was deleted'

Using a small document (less than 1 page) and check 'Print to File':

Notepad displays error dialog: 'RPC Server unavailable.'

(Using a small document (less than 1 page) and check 'Print to File' and select other printer drivers such as HP Photosmart 2700 and PDF-Xchange, no apparent problem occurs.)

Enough for the time being!
