PDF as watermark

Hi,

Is it possible (and if yes, how ;)) to use another pdf-file as background?

What I mean is like in Acrobat Pro (6) can be done by adding a background from Document->Add Watermark/background.

What I want to do is: create one pdf-file that contains the company-layout from my customer(such as logo, address-information and so on). After generating pdf's from our software I'd like to merge them.

Hope you can help (as always :) )
Bert

Hi Bert,

today no - but very soon it will be when we release the 3.5 update, this has a host of new features of which this is one.

We had hoped it would be released late Jan/Early Feb - as this allows you to do many things - inlcuding editing just about any object in a PDF and much more.

However - the API for this is potentially very dangerous for an inexperienced develoepr so we are seperating this is into 2 levels - a high level (relatively safe) and low level (powerful - but potentially dangerous) API.

I expect this to be availoable sometime during March if all goes well.

This will then include the requested feature.
