PXC_AddEnhMetafile Causes VB Crash

Post by WayneH » Thu Mar 06, 2008 4:21 pm

Hi -

I recently upgraded to PDF-Tools SDK V3.6 v.3.60130.

I am making a multi-page PDF using EMF files and PXC_AddEnhMetafile.

Of a 4-page document, pages 1 and 2 get added ok, but then page 3 causes a crash in my VB6 IDE.

I have uploaded the EMF file.

The strange thing is, this did not occur yesterday, and my machine has since been rebooted a few times.

(edit) More information - the exact same error occurs using PXC_AddImageA instead of AddEnhMetafile.

(edit) I have uploaded a second EMF file which also causes a crash. This file has also caused a crash in the Tracker Sample Program 'VBExamples\PDFXCDemo' when substituted for the demo file 'page1.wmf'

Thanks.

Hi,

Confirmed - also have a problem here too with this file - investigating.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Hi - Is PDFTools 4 available yet?
I didn't see it on your web site.
Thanks.

Apologies Wayne - these have taken much longer than we had hoped - but we are just about there - just waiting for the installers now and some final functions for ASCII equivalents to be added this weekend.

Here are the Help files attached for any early look at whats coming and hopefully the installs will be available during Monday (late)
