My problem

When I try to read in a PDF of version 1.2 using the following statement

PDFXCp_Func.PDFXCp_ReadDocument(pdf);

I get an exception "Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

My Environment

Windows XP, SP2

Using VS2003, coding in C#

Using Demo version of PDF-XChange PRO 3 SDK.

My Code

pdf = I73971App.PDFXCp_Func.PDFXCp_InitEx();

I73971App.PDFXCp_Func.PDFXCp_SetFileName(pdf, "C\\2001CV015398-52.pdf");

I73971App.PDFXCp_Func.PDFXCp_ReadDocument(pdf);

Also, I am experiencing the same issue when I run the VS.NET solution found in the following installed folder

PDF-XChange PRO 3 SDK\Examples\SDKExamples\C#Examples\CSharpPDFXCp_Demo\ide_net2003

Doesn't this toolkit handle older versions of PDFs?

I have included the PDF which is giving me the error.

Please provide the PDF in question - all files must be zipped before attaching - also please see the examples provided - does your file open ok in these ?

See the \bin folder of the install for various compiled exe's ready to run - source code being in the examples folder.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.

Best regards
