Inserting demo version logo

Post by kevinxgao1 » Mon Jun 20, 2005 6:53 pm

Thank you very much. I am now able to combine to program together.

In tiff2pdf pogram, I entered license code and it works. It will not insert demo version logo in the new PDF file. However, PDF tool box porgram starts inserting a demo version logo in the middle of the page. This happens this morning after I reinstalled PDF-Xchange SDK. Attached is the PDFXCp_Func.cs. "g_RegKey" and "g_DevCode" are on the top (replaced with ddd, and xxx).

Best regards,
Kevin.

Hi Kevin,

can you please send the complete sample application source and the exe and any required DLL's (except ours) and the tiff file - so we can test in full here.

Please zip.

thanks

Hi Kevin,

You appear to be using an older version of the demo which uses the now redundant PDFXCp_Init() function, this has been replaced in the later releases (some time ago now) with the PDFXCp_InitEx function and this requires you pass both your Serial number and DevCode.

please ensure you have the latest release and demo app's and I am confident all will become clear.

I installed the latest demo program and copied "PDFXCp_Func.cs" into my project. I still get the logo.

Which file(s) should I copy over ?
Do I enter the license number wrong?

Attached is PDFXCp_Func.cs.

Thank you for your help.

Hi,

Thanks for the info - but :

1: You included your live license info - so I have downloaded and removed - please do not include these - if necessary to include this info - send a private message via the forum - not a standard message - thanks.

2: These are just the prototypes and obviously requires that you are using the required function in your code - from the info sent we can only tell the prototype is correctly formatted - not that it is actually in use.

3: Please send your entire project - BUT - please dont send any of our dll's as obviously we already have these and do not need them too - just increases the upload/download time.

If you prefer you can email these (zipped) to usrfiles@tracker-software.com with a link to this forum message.

thanks

Thank you so much. I just email the sample project to you. The program for converting tif2pdf is working properly (without demo logo). The tool box still gives demo logo.

Again, thank you for your help.

Kevin

Please see your email in-box.

Essentially the issue with your code (not protoyping) is that you were still using the wrong function :

You must use only : PDFXCp_InitEx()

and not the function :

PDFXCp_Init()

Hope that gets you on the right track !

I copied newer "PDFXC_Funcs.cs", "PDFXCp_Errors.cs" and "PDFXCp_Func.cs" over to my project. I modified following line and get errors:

public static extern int PDFXCp_InitEx([MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.LPStr)] string "MMMMMMMMM6MJT5"
[MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.LPStr)] string "HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH";

Please see my email for details.

Best regards,
Kevin
