Oh, my mistake. We are using C#. We try to use PDF Tool SDK to create some batch routines to add into our existing application as an enhancement. A few required features including

1. remove all the black pages, if there is any
2. allow users to pick pages or a range of pages to delete
3. add predefined header or footer or stamp with one mouse click

We know your PDF tool kit is able to do it. But, it is not easy. It will be great if you could provide some sample code for us. So we can start from there.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,
James

Hi,

Please see the C# demo in the SDK installation folder 'CSharpPDFXCp_Demo'

See the 'CutPages' (delete) and 'Watermark' (for Header/Footer addition) procedures specifically.

With regards blank pages - at this time we offer no simple mechanism for this I am afraid.

We have just released V3.5 and this may well be possible then as every object on a page can be identified and interrogated for content - but our C# application dev has only just started working with this new library to create demo's and it will be 10-14 days before he will be ready to release any revised demo's.

I tried the CSharpPDFXCp_Demo and it does not have "cut pages" option.

I think it is the reverse of "extrack pages". Could you provide a sample code for this? Thank you.

Best regards,
James

Hi james,

in the V3.4x library that is the way it works - you extract the pages you want to retain and build a new file.

Version 3.5 of xcpro35 offers a genuine page deletion method - this is available now for download now as part of the standard download - but offers only a vc++ demo until later this month when a more comprehensive range of demo code/app's for other dev tools will begin to be released.
