Possible to change Vertical Axis to Top-Down?

Post by stevenalpert » Tue May 31, 2005 1:33 pm

I am trying to integrate into an existing system which uses a top-down vertical coordinate system. That is to say, 0,0 is the upper left corner of the document, and the y axis goes downward as y increases. Is it possible to alter the coordinate system of the SDK so that it mirrors this?

Hi,

No I am afraid not - PDF-XChange/Tools format works as you have discovered on the opposite Axis - this is because this is the specification laid down by the Acobe in the PDF specification and we always conform to the correct format specs rather than deviate.

I am afraid you will need to find some means to handle the conversion within your code.
If posting files to this forum - you must archive the files to a ZIP, RAR or 7z file or they will not be uploaded - thank you.
