Language Support

Post by ken66 » Mon May 16, 2005 5:18 pm

We are looking for a PDF library to support the following languages:

Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Czech, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish

Does PDF-Tools SDK v3 support these languages?

It does ! ;)

But please download the evaluation first from the link below to ensure satisfaction - we do not offer refunds and the evaluation is fully functional without limitation - however a watermark is printed on each page until you add the licensing info into you app (1 line of code usually)

So you can complete your app and only purchase once you are 100% happy and ready to ship - just recompile with your license info and done !

I downloaded the demo yesterday and couldn't see a function to set the code page. Is the code page set based on the font or OS or did I just miss how to set the code page?

Hi Ken,

no need to set a codepage etc - simply ensure you use the Unicode versions of any appropriate functionality used and the correct language/char set is untilised.

These are usually denoted as XYZ function appended by a 'W' i.e. :

PXC_DrawTextExW

Please see the help files for specific Unicode functions and descriptions :

Hope that helps
