I cannot register my purchase/license on your web site?

If you get a message when trying to register on our web site - it could be for any one of the following reasons:

1: Your serial number has already been used to register on our web site (if you have a multipack license with a serial number you will need to request from your System Admin the login and password returned)

2: You have an older release and serial number that is not compatible with registration on our new web site. We regret that to block hacker's we have had to modify the registration algorithms and all older Versions of PDF-XChange/Tools prior to V3 do not allow registration along with earlier releases if the serial number prefix starts with PXP30- may not be compatible.

3: You have incorrectly transposed your serial number when registering.
Please ensure you copy/paste this from your receipt rather than typing as mistakes can be made.

If you have a version 3 serial number that cannot be used to register with you can still download updates to V3 from this page :


All Clients irrespective of product or version can register freely for our user support forums without restriction as no serial number is required.
